My Ex's Hot Dad

Sienna spent two years practically living in her ex's family home before he ended things, and she comes back to pick up a box of belongings. Tyler is away at a lake, so the only person around is his father, Marcus. He has seen how his son treated her, and he says so. What starts as sympathy turns into a plan: two people with a grievance against the same man, an empty house, and the sense that no one is watching. It is a revenge story first and a romance second.

Sienna turns up for her things while Tyler is away at the lake. Marcus offers water, comfort and a blunt verdict on his son. A small request for help becomes something more, he warns that this is a bad idea, and she replies that the good ones usually are. Then Tyler's new girlfriend turns up, claiming a phone charger, and Sienna proposes the best way to hurt him. Episode 2 brings that girlfriend's taunts, the reveal that she is the one he cheated with, and talk of Marcus's loneliness since his wife left. They commit, and a call from Tyler announcing he is driving up tonight only speeds things along.

Betrayal and revenge supply the tension. The dialogue is frank and the story commits to an affair by episode 2, but the free stretch stays in the build-up and the decision rather than the act, judging by the subtitles. A call from Tyler at the end raises the stakes.

Aimed at viewers who like revenge-driven drama, an older man with a quiet confidence and a clock that keeps getting shorter. Start with the box, the glass of water and the first dangerous idea in episode 1, and you will know if you are in.
