Free episodes
Candy's free allowance is the more generous on paper and the easier to use: two episodes of every open series, and on candyshorts.com both play without an account. Secret Shorts gives the first episode of each. Over a dozen series that is the difference between two dozen free episodes and a dozen.
Price
Candy publishes a price on every episode: 12 tokens on 131 series, 30 on the 14 Creators ones, which puts the usual five-part story at 36 tokens. Secrets prices episodes in Moments and shows them inside the app only, so a like-for-like dollar comparison has to wait for a signed-in session. Our price page will carry it.
How explicit
Both keep their most explicit material behind an age step. Candy hides 14 series until you sign up; Secrets puts its whole Shorts page behind an age check. Neither shows explicit episodes to a stranger.
Verdict
Start with Candy Shorts: more series, two free episodes each, and prices you can see before you pay. Add Secret Shorts if the interactive Reels appeal to you, which is the one thing Candy does not do.
