Dad's New Girlfriend

The central figure is Colette, a coffee-shop worker whose smile earns tips and draws more attention than she wants. What most customers do not know is that she is dating someone's father. The story follows that father's son, who knows exactly who she is and finds her hard to ignore. The stakes are family: a dad who is out of the picture for hours at a time and a son tempted to use the gap.

The first episode is a brief counter exchange about milk and how high the tipping machine will go. In the second, a customer pushes for her phone number, is turned down because she is off the clock, and leaves warning bystanders about baristas who flirt for tips. The son then crosses paths with Colette, who has just shaken off another overeager admirer. He admits he would chase her himself were she not with his father. She agrees it is too hot to play dumb and invites him into her car.

Flirtatious and charged rather than explicit in the free stretch: counter banter, a pointed confession and a car-door invitation, with the forbidden angle, his father's partner, doing the work. Anything physical is still ahead when the second episode ends.

For viewers who like a flirt-forward, taboo setup where the line is crossed in conversation first. It is short and easy to sample, and the end of the second episode makes the direction clear, so episode 1 is a quick starting point.
