The Nuns Took Me In

Lost on a forest trail with a storm closing in, a man knocks on the door of a secluded convent. All he wants is a dry place to wait. The sisters answer with a warmth that runs a touch too eager: it has been years since a man stayed under their roof, and they seem to have plans for the night. The setting is a stage for adult fiction, played with comic timing and without mockery of the faith around it. The tension comes from hospitality that never quite explains itself.

He arrives soaked and apologetic, and the sisters welcome him with a pointed promise to take him in, one offers to get him out of his wet things, and a more reserved sister calms the mood. Dinner follows, where the table prayer ends with an apology in advance for what the group has arranged for him tonight. Episode 2 has him asking what the plan is and getting denials and a mention of prayer. He is told to ring a bell if he needs anything. After too much coffee he creeps out at night, wary of a stern sister on watch, and a helper offers to guide him.

Flirtation and innuendo drive the free episodes: the sisters' loaded hints, a bell offered for anything and a late-night dash through the halls. Judging by the dialogue, nothing physical has happened by the end of episode 2. It is build-up and comic timing, with the real heat reserved for later.

A fit for viewers who like a fish-out-of-water setup and slow teasing in an unusual location, where the humor stays gentle rather than sharp. Open episode 1 for the storm, the welcome and the dinner prayer, and you will know whether the convent premise works for you.
